Michael Browers is one of the founding Principals of Behr Browers Architects, Inc. 
As Director of Projects, Michael is responsible for the overall management of all projects as well as general office management. His responsibilities include coordination of all professional services provided during the course of a project including contract negotiation and administration, organization and management of office personnel and consultants, project and office scheduling, government agency interface and processing, project budget control, construction administration, and public relations.

In his more than 30 years as a licensed architect, Michael has gained extensive experience through a large and diverse body of work. His project experience includes government and institutional facilities, medical complexes, corporate headquarters, and entertainment facilities, as well as general offices, and local & regional shopping centers, and encompasses a wide range of projects of varying scale and complexity from Type 1 through Type 5 construction.

Michael has worked extensively with the Uniform Building Code, International Building Code, CAC Title 24, and the Americans With Disabilities Act, and has participated in several professional and building code seminars and workshops. Through California/Nevada NATO (National Association of Theatre Owners), he has worked directly with the State of California as well as various statewide disabled access groups to help develop future disabled access codes, as well as understand those that currently exist. He maintains a proactive approach to understanding disabled access as it relates to the development of various projects, and continues to work to better integrate and improve disabled access in all of the firm’s projects.

In addition to his technical expertise, Michael is also an experienced and skilled manager. Working with a staff of experienced project managers, Michael directs each project’s development from its inception through completion of construction. He has experience dealing with community groups, special committees and regulatory organizations, and his direct involvement and supervision in all phases of a job assures high quality projects that successfully meet the program, schedule and budget needs of the Client.
